Eyelash extensions are individual lashes, made of a synthetic fiber such as nylon, which our professional glues one by one to each of your top eyelashes.

Using long, pointed tweezers, our practitioner brushes a single synthetic lash in a dab of adhesive. With another pair of tweezers, she separates the natural lashes to isolate just one. She places the synthetic lash on the natural lash, holding it for a few seconds while the glue bonds, and drying it with a hand operated dryer. Our practitioner repeats this process, one lash at a time, attaching 40 to 100 lashes per eye. We use several lengths of lashes, so that we achieve your desired "lash look".

Our lash extensions generally last between 4 weeks, and 2 months. Eyelash extensions fall out when your natural lashes do.

Expect 50% lash extention retention after 30 days.

How often do you need to get lash extensions redone?

Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks. That said, because each person’s lash growth is somewhat variable (as with any hair growth), we suggest a lash fill (maintenance) every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain a full look, and keep your natural lashes healthy.

Do lash extensions fall out over a certain period of time?

Since each lash extension is attached to a single eyelash, they will fall out naturally along with the natural growth cycle of each lash.

We recommend a touch-up every 3 to 4 weeks.

It is very important to upkeep your lashes, and receive regular maintenance as, very occasionally, a lash extension with adhere not only to the intended lash, but also to an under developed lash

(we call them baby lashes). If you do not receive the regular recommended maintenance this adherence could cause irritation, and prematurely cause the baby lash to shed. If you see us regularly this will not occur as we thoroughly clean, remove any extension that is too long, and separate any lashes that might have become attached during your last session.

Your natural eyelashes, as well as your extensions, are likely to fall out if you pick at them or try to pull them out yourself; this is NOT recommended. If you need your lash extensions removed, for any reason, please contact us, and we will happily remove your extensions free of charge.

The Do Not's:

  • Keep water away from your lashes for the first 12 to 24 hours after application or touch-ups. Water can weaken the adhesive before it is set, and cause lash extensions to fall off.

  • Refrain from using any oil-based products near your eyes. Oil breaks down the adhesive, and can cause your lash extensions to fall out prematurely

  • If your lash extensions are longer than you are comfortable with DO NOT cut them with scissors. This will make them look blunt and cartoonish. If you are bothered by their length please call us and we will gladly remove them free of charge. To avoid this please make sure to communicate with your lash technician about extension length, and be sure to bring in any eyewear (glasses) that you use regularly so that we can be sure to fit you with extensions that will make wearing them comfortable.

  • Refrain from using cotton products near your eyes such as, cotton pads, or balls. The cotton fibers can attach to your lash extensions and, at best, fill your lases with cotton fibers or, at worst, catch and pull your lash extensions out prematurely.

  • Don't rub or pull at your lash extensions. This will cause premature fall out. If your lashes begin to bother you please use the mascara brush given to you at the end of your service, and use it to comb/brush your lashes into obedience. It may also be an indicator that it is time to have a lash fill (lash maintanence).

  • Do NOT use eyelash curlers while wearing lash extensions.

  • Do NOT use water-proof mascara, lash primer, or any mascara intended to mimic extensions while having your own lash extensions.

Use with caution:

  • If you are planning to wear mascara in addition to your lash extensions, only apply it to the tips of your extensions, and with a very light hand. This will be enough to give your eyes that "pop" along with the extensions. Using mascara at the base of the extensions will get very clumpy which, if not cleaned properly, could lead to a sti, or an eye infection.

  • As with mascara please use thick long lasting eyeliners with caution. If not properly cleaned off a sti or other eye infection may occur. We suggest using mineral based eyeliners if you want to use them on a regular basis while having lash extensions.

Will my natural lashes get harmed or damaged by extensions?

Though we understand that this is a concern, the biggest myth is that lash extensions ruin your own lashes. They do not, if applied correctly, and cared for properly. They are safe, and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes or tug or pull on the extensions because this can cause lash loss, and even damage to your natural lashes. If lash extensions are applied properly to each individual lash, are kept clean, and you receive regular lash maintenence your natural lashes will remain healthy.
